A psychophysiological behavioral medicine educational program will be lanced during last part of 2019 at this website but it will possible also for formal academic use during 202o for interested institutions.
It is an update based on 30 years of clinical work within the field of Integrated Psychophysiological Behavioral Medicine. Extensive clinical work has prevented traditional publications of this somewhat special Swedish approach. This motivate also that in the educational program there are more in-depth descriptions of basic theory and paradigm platform as well as its practical implementation. Focus is on real world practice and thereby its multifaceted biopsychosocial scientific base, where patient education and personalized tailoring of the biopsychosocial toolbox is basis. But this psychophysiological approach would not be developed without knowledge and inspiration by members of Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, www.aapb.org.
The basic idea is that interested – clinicians or not – will be able to attend and do the educational work when it fits each one – you have access at our website when you are registered. Also examination and certifications are plan to be via internet but during specific prerequisites. It is crucial that this education is accepted as an academic education and importantly also respected through those who have done the education and are approved!
